Marine Reserves and MPA Bioblitz Information Session – Virtual

Join the Oregon Marine Reserves Partnership on July 22nd at 6pm for a virtual information session to learn about the Oregon Marine Reserves & MPAs BioBlitz! We will go over what a BioBlitz is, how to participate, and why community science is important for conserving Oregon’s coastal ecosystems.
No scientific experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to explore. This August, we are having a month-long celebration of Oregon’s Marine Reserves and Marine Protected Areas (MPAs)! You can celebrate with us by participating in our BioBlitz: visit one of Oregon’s five marine reserves or adjacent MPAs, take pictures of the organisms you see, and upload it to our iNaturalist project!
